Flower Press

Easy to make and use:

two 4"x6" pieces flat wood
(this one is made from decoupage plaques from a craft store)
four long bolts
4 washers
4 wing nuts

non corrugated cardboard
(corrugated will make lines on your pressed flowers)
acid free paper for pressing

Drill holes in the wood at the corners (together to get them lined up)
cut cardboard and paper to fit inside the press.

Select fresh flowers and put between paper and then between cardboard pieces.
Put press together and tighten wingnuts to press down.  Let sit 2 weeks.
Check to see if more pressing is needed.

I used pressed flowers and a clear coat urethane to decorate this one.
